Guest xanadu Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 My current phone is SPV1. My next phone will be either SPV E200 or Nokia 6600. On paper they seem to have the same spec or very similar. At present I am leaning towards the Nokia 6600, due to the poor support from Orange on the SPV. I can get the Nokia 6600 for half the price of the SPV E200, and it also has more software support for it as it uses the Symbian O/S. Has anyone here owned both phones and give honest comment on which is the best phone and why?

Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 E200 .v. 6600.... Im not even going to bother on this one ;)
Guest xanadu Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 I guess I will have to try them both out for myself at the local Orange shop. I must say that I have gone back to using my Nokia 7110 until we see a s/w update for the SPV, as the SPV is too unreliable for basic things like SMS and receiving calls. That is why I am thinking of giving up on any more so called MS Smartphones. The primary use of a mobile is for my job, and it needs to receive every call and text without delay, and this is where Nokia phones are much more trustworthy.
Guest goinnuts Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 how long canyou wait? 6600 has been delayed to serious software problems. release date is due mid jan. 3650 had sim probs and was never released.
