How do i back-up contacts if i dont have outlook??

Ok I need help here. Tried syncing my phone for the first time just now in order to back it up. I dont have outlook and i cant see any way to back up my data.. i have a new replacement spv arriving tonight and i reallllly dont want to have to tap in all my numbers and stuff again!! Is there a 'contact' file i can get to via all-explorer??? Please help!!! Urgent :shock:

Well a couple of options:

* Install Outlook (it's on the CD).

* Use Programs->Orange Backup

Cheers Barry... in my panic i completely forgot about the backup thing - usual case of panic and push buttons first, read the manual as a last resort :roll:

Cool now im backed up.. is there a way of backing up internet and mail settings or do i have to enter those again??

^ you have to enter those again.

I did a hard reset this morning, and found that my internet worked fine straight away without me having to change any settings. Still had to set up email though!
