E200 Homescreen - Idle Timeout & Auto Lock

What does the Home screen Idle T/O setting actually do :?:

Is it linked somehow to the Device Lock :?:

I'm struggling to turn off my Auto-Lock option..

Tried the Power On/Off & then choose Device Lock - But it just Locks the keypad.

The same is true when I try the Key Lock option too :?

FYI: The fone also boots up immediately locked :!:

If anyone can shed some light/guidance :?:

the homescreen timeout AFAIK is the amount of time that your phone is idle before it returns to the homescreen (for example if you have your inbox open on the screen with a homescreen timeout of 10 seconds then after 10 seconds the screen will return to the homescreen)

to turn off your device lock (on the e100,,,e200 should be similar)

go to settings/security and click on disable phone lock.
