E200 with an SDIO Wi-Fi card connect to a wireless network?

I know that smartphones with 2002 OS's on them cant use SDIO cards, but has anyone tried using a WiFi card with their E200 to connect it to a network?

Please tell me, I'd much rather use my uni's broadband connection than pay for GPRS! My computing lab is across the road from the union, so it might even reach there!?

Hmmm... I could be the champion of pub quizzes with my E200, a wi-fi card and Mr Google!

But seriously, is it possible?

All the Wifi SDIO card manufacturers are just too lazy to make drivers for smartphone :-(. Hopefully when the volume of smartphones sold increases, these people will wake up ;-)

I was reading somewhere (T3 i think) that Sandisk are releasing a SD Wi-Fi card in Japan, the cool thing is they have a SD card planned that has memeory on (256MB i think) and the Wi-Fi bit too! I doubt we will see it in the UK for a long time though, but the drivers might be around by then I guess
