Hi all,

Has anyone successfully got an E200 working with a bluetooth car kit yet?

It certainly doesnt work with a Nokia CARK112, cos thats what I have. It pairs ok, but won't connect beyond that.

Has anyone tried the new Nokia CK-1W or the Ericcson one?

Cheers,

Stu

There was talk of the Parrot CK3000 working but I read in another post that it won't. Only the BT Jabra ear piece kits seems to work at the mo. Someone will bring one out soon I hope - watch this space.

I've just tried it with the parrot ck3000 and it works!

The only problems are no voice dialling yet and it seems a bit temperamental on answering or hanging up, you have to push the buttons a few times.

The software revision on my ck3000 is 3.11, you may need to get it updated.

I had already upgraded to 3.11 firmware, I got a update cable for it. It actually worked better on the old firmware I had wich was 2.11.

Its very 'hit n miss' at the moment, but as I say parrot are working on it.

Fingers crossed.

Have installed a Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Car Kit HCB-30 and Sony Ericsson Advanced Music Mute HCE-16 - first class with the E200.

The kit uses the car stereo speakers muting the stereo automatically when making or receiving calls and call clarity is superb both ways.

The downsides:

1. lack of voice activation (my wife's T610 is great for this feature)

2. no bespoke cradle / exterior aerial option

3. permanent backlight issue on E200 (shouldn't this be a profile setting and therefore an easy fix for MS ?

Overall thoroughly recommended
