Is this on an E200? Midi fles will only work on the E200 (Voyager) handset and should be placed in storageapplication datasounds.

I tried to convert midi to wav before i got my E200, unfotunately i had little success in terms of quality  Maybe someone can shed some light on this?

i can only suggest playing the midi file in sound recorder which converts it to a WAV file. put this in IPSMApplication DataSounds

I'm probably the wrong person to mention this, having only got my first E200 SPV days ago, but from the stuff I've read at least, I thought the only difference (ring term-wise) between the E200 and the older E100, was that the new E200 allows .wma (Windows Media Audio) files to now be used as ringtones too.

It certainly SOUNDS to me that the E100 NOT allowing midi ringtones is a bit strange...?

But only going off what I have READ to be fair...

shadamehr: the E100 definately didn't work with the Sonic - Green Hills Zone midi file that Paul [MVP] posted in his E200 review...
