Guest adicken Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 Just brought my new SPV E200 from www.fones4free.com Excellent service and the best thing of all was that it was FREE on Orange anytime 200 with FREE 2000 texts and FREE 1 month Orange World access. A good deal all round.

I hardly post on here but always like to hear peoples comments on the Smartphones that are out there, good or bad. I have been monitoring the progress of both the E200 and the MPX200 and altho i like the idea of the Motorolla and it looks the business i went for the E200. (built in camera and bluetooth but mainly the camera swung it for me!) Altho im looking forward to Motorollas next efforts tho!! Ordered the E200 from Fones4free and i now have the phone! Very happy! I asked for them to port my number across but decided that would take a while to dom so told them to forget it and that i could live with a new number. There was a minor mix up but i have the phone now even if it took a little longer than expected. They kept me updated all the way and even posted me a packet of minstrels too! 8) Mmm! happy with that!! all i paid was 99p delivery!!! ;) Very happy with the service and the constant contact was great to! So far not experienced any buzzing at all and the phones performing well, very speedy, even when writing text messages, no slow down!! Its performing well! Only time will tell!

Asif... Now am I reading too much into that, or just pronouncing it fast... But the arguments about fones4free giving good service... Well all I can say is "Yeah right.... Asif..." (Seriosuly though - never used them before so can't comment).

No offense but two people with low post counts recommending a seriously shoddy website. :shock: OK then, I'll trump (on? :lol: ) your argument - I ordered from the same company - placed the order at the end of last week (late Thursday I think) and the phone arrived Wednesday morning. can't grumble about that too much. I sent a couple of e-mails to enquire about when stock was due in and what the order -> ship delay was an both were answered promptly... Besides, even if things did go tit's up, it's only 99p lost - much less than the 30 quid or what ever if things went tits up with OneStopPhoneShop HTH, Hax

This is a quote from an e-mail reply I had enquiring about this very thing: "We have just started receiving stock of the SPV today, and as it can sometimes be a little unpredictable to guarantee stock with such a new item, we state it as pre-ordering, because we expect a few days delay in meeting new order." Guest richto Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Got mine from them after about a week - no problems. Phone buzzes though on loud conversations, and loud ringtones sound distorted. Not as good as SPV. Might try some surgery and swap the speakers...
Guest ltgland Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 got mine after about a week, no complaints. I went out last night so didnt have a chance to test drive it properly, but the only buzzing is when the 150 robot lady talks, not when speaking to a person.
