There are a few different ROM updates you can try for your phone as you are not under a contract with a network operator.

There is the Swiss, Qtek and I-Mate 1.5 and soon to be released is the UK

1.6 update.

The only ROM you should not use is the SMART update as it will SIM lock your phone to the SMART network.
