Stange IR Problem with IPAQ 3970 and SPV E100

Hello Everyone

I have a very very strange problem, and I am at the point of throwing my IPAQ in the bin :cry:

I have followed the exact instructions on the Modaco site to configure the SPV and Pocket PC to use GPRS. I even got a colleague to verify every single setting and option was carefully followed.

However, when I try to connect on the Pocket PC using the Internet Connection I created, it asks for a username / password and Domain which I leave blank. It then brings up a pop-up window telling me its connecting... to the ORANGE GPRS (name of my connection).

It then asks for a username/password/Domain again. I leave it all blank and click ok! IT brings up the same connecting... box!

After 30 seconds it fails advising me "there is no answer at the number dialed. verify phone number & then try again blah blah"!

So I decided to see if I could beam a contact from my SPV to the IPAQ. That does not work!! I then try to beam a contact from the IPAQ to the SPV ... guess what? Fails again!

If I align both devices up, it see's the device and sits on the word "Pending". Eventually on the Pocket PC I am asked to "Tap To send". After tapping and waiting 3 -5 mintues it failes with the word "Failed".

Has anyone seen this or know of a possible fix? I am also unable to obtain a E200, because I am a new customer to Orange (99 for upgrade then an extra 100 to cancel my contract and go into a new one!)
