Where's my Orange SPV developer kit User Manual? :(

I purchased an Orange SPV developer kit (original Canary model) from the ORANGE SPV for Development website a couple of months ago. And, I noticed that no User Manuals were supplied in my SPV developer kit package. :? :?:

When I tried to access the website to check the Product Information, it stated (at the time) that - "The Orange SPV Developer Program 2003 Has Now Closed. However, watch out for details of The e200 Developer Program over the coming months." - and I was unable to refer to the original web page listing the package contents of the SPV (Canary) developer kit which I ordered. The ORANGE SPV for Development website has since re-opened and now sells the newer Orange SPV E200 developer kit. The current web page provides Product Information for the new SPV E200 developer kit, stating that there should be a "User Manual" included in the package contents.

I have sent numerous e-mails to [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] to seek clarification about this matter (and to request a full set of User Manuals/Documentation shipped to me) but to no avail... :lol: To date, no one from ORA or Orange has responded, and so I'm hoping that perhaps a Mobile Devices MVP or an ORA/Orange staff reading these forums will take notice of my situation, and help me get in touch with the right people at ORA/Orange to assist me.

For now, I'm referring to the documentation available online at the Orange SPV Guides web page. Please help... :D TIA.

If you mean the user manual for the phone then it's in the box for the E200 developer version, sorry I don't know about previous versions of the phone. The link you provide here http://www.developers.orange.com/docs/SPV/Guides/ is the version of the manual I have apart from the fact it's for an E200, of course.

If you mean documentation for the 'developer kit' then that's at Microsoft here http://msdn.microsoft.com/ and isn't supplied in the kit.

Hi Fenice, unfortunately I didn't receive a User Manual for my Orange SPV (Canary model) developer Smartphone - and that's the documentation which I'm referring to which is missing (not referring to the MSDN website's Smartphone development resources which I'm also aware of). I've tried e-mailing ORA, Orange etc. but I've received no answer from them to date, and can't help but feel that I've been shortchanged. :lol: Does anyone know who I should write to, to get this sorted out?

Hi Max Damage, I haven't actually downloaded any updates for my SPV (developer Smartphone) yet, however... Smartphone France maintains a web page listing the various ROM updates - "Toutes, enfin presque, les ROM pour SPV" - which you may find useful. HTH.
