Guest rpb Posted November 30, 2003 Report Posted November 30, 2003 Midnight has said that it might be possible to have an increasing ring and vibrate on incoming calls via a registry tweak. Any clues on how this can be done? Also is there any way the LCD light can be switched on / left on for longer ?
Guest midnight Posted November 30, 2003 Report Posted November 30, 2003 HKCUControlPanelSoundsRingTone0 and set script to (if you want no pauses between loop): c50apv0c150r or (if you want a pause): c50apv0w3c150r as for the lcd light, probably is an individual setting, but until i get my mpx200, i cant help you there
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 1, 2003 Report Posted December 1, 2003 I cna't find a reg entery at the moment, but I can see how to change the logo on the LCD
Guest Liz Posted December 6, 2003 Report Posted December 6, 2003 Hi To increase the volume on the ring tone just go to Settings/Accessibility/In-Call alert Volume and set it to 3/4 - or whatever. Mine stops a shop in its tracks on 4 ! (I reset to 3! ) HTH – but no idea on vibrate – might just go up automatically with the above, not tested it. Liz
Guest midnight Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 liz, i think you got confused :D theres an option for 'increasing ringtone', where the volume starts low when it starts ringing, and gets louder and louder, and theres also an option for vibrate (both are in settings>profiles then menu>edit profile) oh, and my reg edit above does both at the same time
Guest rpb Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 Registry edit works fine to give increasing ring and vibrate. However, it seems to reset itslef whenever the phone is switched off. Can this be cured?

Guest midnight Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 erm, it isnt when the phone is switched off (or shouldnt be), its whenever you go into your sound settings, or if you switch profiles. I have explained in another topic somewhere on modaco how to create custom profiles that dont get deleted when the profile is changed. Should be in customisation section somewhere. If you cant find it let me know and i'll create it for you
Guest KolyanCA Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 PhotoContacts has a feature to enable continuous ring. Which works in both modes for just the ring and ring with vibrator. It restores it when the phone is rebooted.
