Guest Niteflyer Posted November 30, 2003 Report Posted November 30, 2003 Hello all  I have the original SPV, I have all sorts of connectivity and SYNCing problems with it, after over 4 hours of the 156 DATA line help, I am still no better off than I was when I started. I know ofr a fact that the E200 will connect and SYNC on my PC cos I have tried a friends. I'm in my 3rd year of contract with ORANGE and it runs out in APR 2004. Does anyone know how much it will cost me to upgrade to the E200 early and how much ORANGE will buy my original SPV for? Also what are the chances of them waiving my upgrade fee as I am unable to use the SPV the way I should be? Thanks and great forum here! well done all. :D
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 1, 2003 Report Posted December 1, 2003 The cost of the upgrade will depend on what contract you are on. Uprading early though will cost £75 as far as I'm aware (please correct if I'm wrong) I believe the buy back option is nothing special but as I have not tried it my self I cannot comfirm what this would be. As for upgrading due to problems that would depend on the operator you speak to and also if they decide that the problem is the phone and not your PC. Also they could just advise you send the phone off for repair.
Guest Niteflyer Posted December 1, 2003 Report Posted December 1, 2003 Thanks Awarner  Has anyone sold their SPV back to ORANGE? if so how much did you get for it? Thanks again :D
Guest Niteflyer Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 OK, so if no one has sold it back to ORANGE, how much can I expect to get if I sell it privately? it is only 1 month old and in very good condition with a 256mb SD card  thanks :D
Guest Brody Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Keep the 256 meg card! I would expect around £100 for a mint SPV.
Guest Pondrew Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 My Dad bought my 11month old original SPV off me for £85. Kind of miss it actually  Still, I've got my E200 to comfort me
