I recently uninstalled PocketMVP from my SPV, it didn't restore the file associations back to WMP. Now I have to open WMP then then file --> open to play a file. Is there a way to fix this?

1. if you have RESCO File Explorer you can associate .avi, .mp3, and .mpeg back to WMP (the default player)

Open RESCO > highlight an .mp3 or .avi > Menu > Associate With...Choose the Program..enter Windowswmplayer.exe

Make sure there's a check mark on "Always use this porgram to open this file type."

2. if you have SmartExplorer, open folder wer you have your .mpg .mp3 and .avi, highlight > File > Open > Open With > Select WMPlayer from the list or you can "Add to list.." location of wmplayer.exe

Hope that helps
