Guest ka_edong Posted December 1, 2003 Report Posted December 1, 2003 Hi everybody, I have audio recordings in "Voice Notes". These were recorded using the record button of the Smartphone. I couldn't find the files using Smart Explorer. Nor could i find them when i navigate my phone files using my PC. How do I copy these audio files to my PC? The folder "IPSM > My Documents > Notes" is empty. But I can play my voice notes, I know the files are somewhere in the phone. I've been searching around for a solution all day but couldn't find any on modaco.com nor coolsmartphone.com nor ppcw.net . Can anyone point me to the right direction? Salamat (Thank you), edong
Guest Brody Posted December 1, 2003 Report Posted December 1, 2003 On my E200 they are stored in StorageMy DocumentsNotes which is the equivilent directory to the one that you have been looking in. Are you sure you haven't tweaked your phone to store Voice Notes on the Storage Card? The only way that I know to get Voice Notes from the phone to the PC is by manually copying them as you are trying to do...
Guest deanrh Posted December 1, 2003 Report Posted December 1, 2003 i too have the same problem, i have made 3 recordings. i opened IA file manager and it said there were 3 files in the ipsmmy documentsnotes folder. but it was empty.....r they hidden files. if they r, what's the point of that. dean
Guest ka_edong Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Was thinking they were hidden files too. Still haven't found them. I'm using a smart amazing phone (philippines). www.smart.com.ph/SMART/Products/Smart+Amazing+Phone/ I'm not sure of my phone's model number. I don't use a storage card (it's on my Christmas wishlist). it said there were 3 files in the ipsmmy documentsnotes folder. but it was empty.....r they hidden files. if they r, what's the point of that. dean
