F**K Orange and there spvs tbh had enough of em

facts=

1. got a new spv on contract september

2.replaced in septeber for faulty screen

3.replaced early november for faulty screen

4. shock horror replaced with spve100

5.late november arfter a mnth of recieving hardly any calls get told by buisness contacts before getting through there having to redail about 5-6 times most of the time

6.test my self by constantly ringing from my phone

7.4 in 10 calls do not get through

8.orange say not our fault wait 72 hours

9.credit card company say b***ox in a polite way of course

10.so do trading standards

11.recorded conversation with orange employee on phone saying they know the spvs are faulty

12.waiting 72 hours for out come time ticking away

13.will not be accepting any phone made by htc aka orange spv/spve100/spve200

14.lets see what happens

15.f***ing phone made me loose a 3 grand job :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Ouch! Sounds like you've had some bad luck there! I'm sure i wont change your mind now, heck i wouldn't be getting another SPV if i was in your position but i'm sure that you've just had some really bad luck :| I've never had such problems and i've had 5 Smartphones, none of which were replaced as a result of faults, i got an E100 in place of my SPV, then won one (thanks again MoDaCo and Orange!), then bought one for dirt cheap on an auction site and then i bought the E200.

after finally getting through to a supervisor today orange are gonna sort it

well tbh it was that or lose 5 contracts

I have to admit also that since moving from O2 to Orange, I have had many many issues with my SPV E100 as well as the Service from Orange.

My main problem was that the Phone would not tell me I was receiving Voice Mails! By sheer luck someone called me and advised me they left a message. So to my surprise I found 10 messages left in the past 4 days!

When contacting Orange about it, they first advised it was a Service problem. But it turned out to be related to the Phone and therefore it was replaced.

I had to get my Handset replaced a 2nd time due to the fact I was sounding like a Dalek from Dr Who! Orange ran a test diagnostic and found the microphone was faulty.

Not only that, but I still discovered the 2nd replacement phone still did not advise I was getting Voice Messages! This time, Orange admitted they had a problem!

Finally, the signal seems to be very poor where I am based, and running a business from home is quite frustrating! The amount of times I have to divert calls from mobile to home is a pain! But even on the move, I have a hell of a time talking to people.

Clearly this is down to the Signal/Reception and not the phone! However I am not a fan of Orange, and it really is only this phone that made me move to orange!

I am really, really hoping a Smartphone will be on O2 soon!!! 8)

The phone is "OK", and has some great features/functions, but was it really worth the move to Orange? In my own opinion probably not, but I am trying to live with it for now :lol:

Now, all i really want is to get a way to keep the BackLight on in the car!!! Any ideas??
