upgrading SPV, Do you need a cradle with the plug?

hey I just try to upgrade my spv with the 1.3.5 but it stops before staying that it is in not plugged in, do I need the plug in cradle to do this???

You'll need your phone synced with your PC in its cradle and the charger plugged into the back of the cradle. If you have a USB sync cable (I-Mate) then you'll need the charge cable plugged into the USB cable.
