Guest simonarnell Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 I have a 2.5mm > 3.5 mm adapter cable from www.pc-mobile.net for my SPV, the sound on my headphones came out in stereo. When i use the same cable and headpones on my mpx200 the sound comes out in mono, has any one else had this problem? is this a dodgy handset or do the handsets have different pinouts? thanks simon
Guest 4N1L Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 I noticed this too last night. I think its the way the pins are configured because i have two 3.5mm adaptors (had to buy two to get up to minimum order price) and only get sound from one earpiece when i use them with the mpx200 - they are both fine with my E100. I'm sure the company i bought them from (www.pc-mobile.net) now stock a mpx200 version...so i may be forced to buy another two
Guest sanjayamlani Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 once again, i also noticed this problem. huge problem as one of the main reason i got the mpx200 is for mp3's to run reliably. i was hoping that i would get a decent pair of headphones so i wouldn't have problems. but once again, like with the orange spv original, the provided heads are crap, and now the adapter only works in mono. pain in the :!: anyone know if motorola did this deliberately. i found that when the adapter is not put in 100% you do get some sound on the left, but that goes when u put it in all the way. reds, 5anj
Guest liquid-core Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 I have just had a look on the site and it does state that it is NOT sterio.
Guest adrianfox Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 I also notice that the audio quality is inferior to the SPV (lacks bass). Posted from my SmartPhone!
