Need help with the Smart Phone configuration tool

OK, I need some help. On the SPV-E200 CD under the Start Here menu their is an application for configuring your smart phone from your desktop. This tool allows you to configure things like email then download the information to your phone.

I have a connection via ActiveSync 3.7.1 to my phone (USB). I click the next to connect and it fails everytime. I am using a USB hub so I tried to connect it directly to my USB port and the same thing happens.

Has anybody been able to get this to work? Any idea's what I am doing wrong?

Have been able to synce the phone at all?

If not did you install Activsync before plugging the phone into the PC?

Yes I have been syncing the phone and ActiveSync says it connected and completly synced. By the way I know it truely is syncing so rule that out.
