This may seem a stupid question but is it possible to send pics and vids by BT??????

If so how, because I cannot find the option :?

I'm afraid with the current BT software on the phone, this is not possible.

It only supports BT Headsets and the ability to pair the e200 to another device (ie.pocket pc) for use as a modem, although even use as a modem seems to be patchy at best.

Also at the mo there is no automatic option, so you have to leave BT set to ON to use it with a BT headset, which will drain you battery pretty quickly!

Not quite the full Bluetooth that we were expecting :?

I was in the pub last night with a mate who has a T610. Decided to do a bluetooth test.

He sent me 2 pics and a contact.

I couldn't send him a thing. Tried to send him a contact by using beam contact. However think this wants to use IR.

So basically what sort of BT have Microsoft implemented in this device. Some half cocked half baked pile of shite.

Not even a search for devices option.

Rushed out the door to get the phone in the shops for Christmas me thinks.

Not even a Search for devices option.

There is a "Search for Devices" function.

Open your Bluetooth settings page -> 'Menu' softkey -> Bonded devices, then in the Bonded Devices screen -> 'Menu' softkey -> New.

That'll browse for any local BT devices...

Its only a software problem, the phone has bluetooth, and hardware wise it's capable of doing everything the T610 is.

All we are waiting for is software to be written to allow us to use all these features. Then the phone will really kick ass!

Videos and Pictures can be sent via bluetooth by using the latest version of smartexplorer, available from

http://www.binarys.com/smartphone/beta_en.asp

Its great fun, take a picture of your nads, then send to some random kid who leaves his bluetooth on! fun!

So far ive managed to send pictures to the T68i, T610, 3650 and just about every 3G phone.

Bluetooth transfer is extremely slow though. I did manage to send my famous underground video ( http://www.coolsmartphone.com/index.php?op...article&sid=657 ) to another E200 via infra red.

Hope this helps, peace out homies,

Elliott
