Guest AJConroy Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Please forgive my ignorance. I'm the very happy owner of a new E200 of one weeks standing! Love it to bits. [Like to have a longer battery life, but hey even Halle Berry probably has a flaw ..] Anyway, I have searched the forums for the answer to this but cant find it anywhere. It is probably very simple .. When I synch my PC, where do I look to find the photos which have been stored on my mobile in the 'multimedia album'? AGain, my apologies if this is a dumb question! Great website, by the way. I've used loads of the advice on the various messages.
Guest shadamehr Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 You don't AFAIK, unless I missed something big. Doing a Sync only works for Outlook items, such as your contacts, your tasks, your Inbox etc (depending on what options you have ticked within ActiveSync). To get other stuff off the SPV, you need to go manual mate. Click the explore option in Active Sync. This should open up a standard Explorer (Windows Explorer) pane, where ou can browse the phone. Images taken on the SPV are USUALLY stored in the Storage>My Documents folder, unless you have changed settings. Simply drag and drop etc as normal, to bring the files over from the phone, to your PC. You'll need to get used to this method, as it is used for certain types of application install, adding ringtones, wallpapers, new themes etc, and lots more. Doing a Sync only applies to Contact and Agenda Items etc in Outlook.
Guest Maverick Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 I think someone had written an app to synchronise folders as well... cant remember where it is
Guest AJConroy Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 A quick note to say thank you. Now sorted.
