where r sms store on spv?

anyone know where there store on the spv/e100 i wana store em on my pc without converting them to emails

the storage for SMS inbox is on your cemail.vol on IPSM. and MAPI folder for sent items. you can back it up but can't read it on PC.

you can also backup the *.mpb files contained in your MAPI folder then READ them using your PC's Notepad/text editor.

Here's the trick (HOW TO BACKUP cemail.vol TO PC):

Important: do palomaa's trick first (cemail.vol in Storage Card) Click Me ...then do tricks 1 and 2 below. (look for cemail.vol instead of mxip_initdb.vol. same procedures apply)

1. To Copy cemail.vol: Click Me

2. To Restore cemail.vol: Click Me

pano kung sa SD card mo gusto isave mga SMS.. lahat, ibig sabihin... pag naka receive ng SMS sa SD card lhat punta... m using smart 1.7... thanx!

... thankx pzee... one problem though, i downloaded ur zip file named "Backup and Restore mxip_initdb.vol.zip" but when imgoing to extract it... it says it is password protected.... :D

...got it pzee... downloaded it again, and was able to extract it.... thanx!!! :lol:

...problem, no SMS tone :oops: when i was using eurotel 1.5, i have done this and no problem but with smart 1.7 tone is gone.... but putting it back to the default (IPSM) SMS tones are back... wat givs then?

...Any work-around on this pzee?
