Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 how to type, no idea but you can insert those characters in the predefined text.
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 use xbar sir. in your pc, create a new notepad file with { and } characters. save it then activesync to phone. open the .txt using orneta notepad. open xbar then copy the characters. open inbox > menu > options > predefined text > then paste the characters. thats it.

Guest Vector Posted December 6, 2003 Report Posted December 6, 2003 No worky on the Samsung i600...it does not show these characters in the symbol list! Geeeeeeeeeeez. That's because they are only on the E200 and maybe only on Windows Mobile 2003 ?
Guest Brody Posted December 6, 2003 Report Posted December 6, 2003 Hmm, this was present on Smartphone 2002 devices, it just had a less comprehensive list of characters. I would imagine there is a way as i'd have thought the function was part of the OS as opposed to being added by the operator, have you read the manual?
