Couldn't believe I got it for free as well.

The nice people at fones4free do it for £0 on yourplan 200.

Yeah but what about all of us wanting the E200 via an upgrade? No free offers there. They'll give them away to strangers but when it comes to loyal customers, I'm afraid we'll have to pay. :lol:

i paid £75 for an upgrade i was on that 200 minutes anytime any network tarrif.

but i have mates in high PLACES

Yes I was also very happy with the free E200 from Fones4Free, although I was somewhat confused by the free packet of Minstrels! :lol:

Spoke to Orange on the 20th Nov - they asked for £149 plus £75 fee as I had two (yes, TWO) days to go before the year was up. Would not budge except for reducing the £149 to £99, even after lots of huffing & puffing, etc. Needless to say, I refused!

Called a few days later - still would not budge from £99.

This afternoon - tried again; initially quoted £149, I said no way, transferred through to Customer Services & straight away offered it for free - no asking! All done within a few minutes! Coming Fri.

Moral - if out of contract, be patient and don't pay a penny!

your bills must be stratospheric to get them to agree to that... either that or they had a sudden burst of uncharacteristic generosity!

I rang Orange to give notice on my current SPV contract as I was going to get a new contract from onestopphoneshop on an E200 as it was far cheaper and I wasn't that bothered about keeping my number.

When I got through to the cancellation dept. they offered me a free upgrade (saving £129.95) and offered to upgrade the phone for £49.95
