Guest carvas Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 hello. is there any chance to put the T9 in portuguese language :?: does anyone knows any rom that has portuguese language included? :?: thanks. regards :!:
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 As far as I know there is not a rom that has T9 Portugese The E200 has Spanish as far as I'm aware.
Guest carvas Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 well it seems the MPX200 is going to be available in portugal, so i think it would have portuguese software and portuguese T9, is there the possibility to install the OS of the motorola in my SPV E100? i had another idea... substitute the t9 english dll with a t9 portuguese dll and name it as the t9 english... is that possible? thanks! regards!

No and No The OS is different on the MPX to the SPV and as for T9 the file is part of the ROM so unless you can hack the ROM it's not possible.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Also just checked on my MPX and there is no Portuguese language support at the moment.
Guest carvas Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 do you really think that the idea that i proposed could be made? how do i hack the rom?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Hack means to be able to alter the actual ROM image to place the required files into it. And your idea would not work unless you do the above sorry.
