Guest urdone311 Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 I just took apart my original SPV because the joystick was broken by using the guide on coolsmartphone.com, and man I didn't know how badly scratched the plastic covering for the screen was until i looked at the fresh, original screen underneath! When clear plastic gets scratched really bad is there any way possible to buff it out? Or is just a permanent thing i will have to deal with?
Guest morpheus2702 Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 There are various solutions you can use, typically to remove scratches from glasses - but I've not heard of one that doesn't cause more harm than good. Best solution is to look for a SPV dummy case on Ebay and replace the whole thing.
Guest HurricaneDave Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 you need a product called T-cut or i think it maybe called Minute cut now im not sure but i have used it on various items ,, watch screens/tv screens etc etc etc even use it on my old spv ,, just put a little bit on a smooth cloth (them yellow duster things work best) and rub like hell then after a bit of rubbing just get a damp cloth and clean it off :) just realised that sounds a bit perverted  :D
