Guest Lapsus Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 my spv got stolen from my a few weeks ago. damm i hate theifs.... but on thebright side my incurense money just came in the mail. so now i have to by a new one... i was thinking of bying the e200 or the mpx200 whitch is the best phone?? the e200 is fast but have a lot of errors but the mpx200 i not arived in denmark yet so i have to buy over the internet.
Guest morpheus2702 Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 If you can live without the Bluetooth and integrated camera, go for the MPx200. Better build quality, no glaring faults and hopefully scope to upgrade to WM2003.
Guest kyrkesmith Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 I get the impression that the overall quality of the MPx200 is far superior to the SPV range. Agree with morpheus2702, although if I were upgrading, I would kinda be torn between the two. Wish the MPx220 would come along, then there wouldn't be any difficult decisions.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Also the battery life on the MPX is far better than the E200  after two days I'm still on 68% :D/
Guest blade6750 Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 thats all true but Bluetooth is a big advantage especially with the law change about using ur phone whilst driving. Also note the E200 has the latest OS from microsoft which is considerable faster than Smartphone 2002 which is on the MPX2200 Got my E200 paired with an Erricson HB-60 ans it works great. I have also used the the Jabra bt200 which is no where near as good as the erricson headsets. But for its price its good
Guest kyrkesmith Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 From what I gather, 2002 on the Motorola is running at a far superior speed to how it currently runs on SPV/E100 (prior to 1.6 at least), and I really don't see that the speed increase of 2003 is that much of a big deal compared to MPx200's 2002 speed. Still think they made a mistake not using 2003, and not including a camera and bluetooth, although bluetooth would have probably had adverse effects on the battery life that awarner is praising, and a camera would have probably added to the size. Getting my hands on a MPx200 tomorrow.
Guest FrankyG Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 thats all true Also note the E200 has the latest OS from microsoft which is considerable faster than Smartphone 2002 which is on the MPX2200 but that isn't! As I posted elsewhere, they're both fast enough so as not to make any real world difference.
Guest morpheus2702 Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Just imagine a MPx200 running WM2003 - now that's gotta fly!
