HI, I am not uptodate right now so here my questions

what is the current rom and radio version?

SPV e100

I have Radio version 1.24.00 and rom 1.3.5.6

anything newer available (from orange)?

PS: what is the deal with the smart ROM version 1.7.0.13 - is it good to use for the SPV e100 - pro and cons?

You have an E100 with rom 1.3.5.6?! I thought the E100s were all released with version 1.5.x?

Orange in some countries released an update rom version 1.5 while others offered the update in their local service centres. If you're in the UK though you're out of luck as rom 1.5 wasn't made available to the public, only on new E100 handsets.

Wouldn't recommend you try the Smart rom unless you've got a Smart Amazing Phone as it locks you to their network...

More bad news I'm afraid!

PS, will check on the latest radio stack version when I can and report back later...

Yep 1.5 update was released to Swiss users only.

The 1.6 update is hopefully due for release on the 10th Dec :lol:

sorry I thought SPV e100 is the same as orange SPV.

well let me correct myself. I have the SPV (first one that came out).

1) Is there a newer version avaialbe for my spv than 1.3.5.6 (i am located in USA, but using UK updates)?

2) the Dec 10th date. is that a confirmed date?

3) What is the current uk version?

4) someone has a link of the orange site, where i can download the current update?

1.3.5.6 is the current UK ROM version for the SPV.

The only other update you could use by orange is the Swiss 1.5
