E200 Homescreen and Tones

A simple question!!

Where do I place alternative homescreens and ringtones. I have placed them in Windows. This works and I can select them in settings but if the phone is turned off then the screen or whatever vanish from the directory.

Please can someone tell me as it is starting to annoy me.

StorageApplication DataHome

For ringtones:

StorageApplication DataSounds

if you're using qtek, imate or eurotel rom, you can place your ringtones in Storage CardMy Documents
