Help with e100 Update

Hello,

im a relatively new E100 user, I bought the phone recently from orange (only to have the e200 released the following week - thats a whole different story!)

Anyway, I hear there is a new update available (1.6 i think) soon. I have already unlocked my phone and wondered if this would stop me upgrading?

How do i get the upgrade? Will it download through the 'Orange Updates' program?

Help... so many questions!! :lol:

An unlocked phone won't stop you upgrading it.

Rumour is that the 1.61 update will appear 10th December.

Check here to download it.

Then with your E100 in the cradle, AC adaptor connected, simply execute the file.

But you wont be able to SIM unlock it after the update.
