Guest Kallisti Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Right, just started noticing the buzzing today in the car (now that I've taken to using the freeby hands free kit). The buzzing on my E200 was noticable once I had the volume a little higher than halfway up the scale, and especially when talking to wildfire. Interestingly enough, it was exactly the same through the hands free kit, so it's got to be some sort of software problem, if it really ISN'T on some phones, maybe there's a dodgy batch of d2a chip in there? I thought of trying to use the speakerphone instead in the car. But the quality of the microphone seems to be totally crippled once you put it into speakerphone mode. People that can hear me fine when I can't hear them (Because speakerphone is off), suddenly can't hear me and describe me as "breaking up" when I turn it on. This combined with the lack of accessories, and non-working bluetooth (when it comes to car kits at any rate) make this a tough proposition to keep using legally!
Guest leo-balou Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 If you want a blue-tooth H-F kit then the Sony Ericcson seems OK. See here. Just ordered mine today...fingers crossed.
