Guest shakers24 Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Hi. I recently sold an original SPV mobile phone and it seems Royal Mail have lost in the post. Luckily I paid for insured postage. Anybody have an idea where I can find details of a sim free brand new SPV on the net? I need to send them proof of how much its worth, so easiest thing for me is to print off the details and prices from a web site. Seems to be plenty of web sites selling sim free phones but can't find the SPV on there ( I know its older now but there is probably still somebody out there) thanks
Guest sponge Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Have you tried asking Orange to provide a letter declaring how much it was/is worth? Might carry more weight than a webpage.
Guest shakers24 Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 True, good idea shall call them later cheers
Guest mvsmith07 Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 Problem is because SPV is ONLY available (officially) on the Orange network no-one could get hold of any to sell SIM free. I think Orange is your best bet, but if their customer service is anything like the comments posted throughout this forum good luck!
Guest shakers24 Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 Cheers I've just phoned them, and after a couple of calls and the usual long hold music they said yes, they could do it. Looks like they will send me the details via email this evening. lets see if they do... cheers all
Guest Will Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 or look on the ORA website, i think they are still selling the spv's as developer phones (unconnected, simfree) Unfortunately this pc is about to reboot, and i cannot open IE at all to browse to check! Will
