motorola mpx200

does anyone know where i can get a proper hands free car kit for this - all i get from motorola customer service is a long time listening to the phone ring...... sigh - i can get an upgrade from orange for not a lot - but i have an aversion to continually sticking things in my ear so i want (need) a car kit...

I don't think there's one available yet. I think they advise you to use the phone on hands free mode, and buy some form of cradle like this.

Incidentally, I think this should have been posted in the MPx200 forum here. :lol:

thanks - one must wonder at a phone which was launched as direceted at the business community not having a car kit....sigh.......

and....... isnt this forum 'help and advice' doesnt say help and advice except for anything to do with the motorola mpx200.......

Yeah, I agree, they should have had a car kit ready when they launched the phone, and I'd reckon one will come out soon. Would like to see a keyboard too.

Only reason I think this is more suited to the MPx200 forum is that it is to "Discuss issues specific to the Motorola MPx200", which this is. But hay, I'm not a moderator.

and main reason for putting it inthe other forum - more people read it therefore more people to answer a question that although not having the phone someone might have seen a car kit somewhere sigh

Have you given it a go using the speakerphone on the phone? They do sell an in car charger, and it will sit in a universal cradle.
