TAPI or ExTAPI

Dear All

I am interested in having some details about how to use TAPI or ExTAPI APIs. My main motive is to get information about the IMEI or the mobile device phone number from a desktop application.

I tried running example the ExTAPI which comes with the Smartphone SDK, but that example doesn't runs and terminates giving an error!

Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.
