Orange 14 day returns

When is the first day of this return period?

the day they invoice the order or the first day I connect.

I am asking this because I have only had my phone connected to orange for 6 days but it was despatched from the onestopphone shop 14 days ago.

So which one do I go by? Onestop are saying I can't return my phone now.
