ive noticed something odd.....!!

....the earpiece volume becomes much louder when the G symbol is lit up on the phone (Orange UK). Try it for yourself: try calling when u first switch the phone on (when gprs hasnt initialised) and note the volume of the earpiece, then open up explorer and visit a website to turn gprs on. TRy calling now, the volume is much louder (this is all with volume settings unchanged).

Need comments.

hi there, ive just got the same problem, when the G appears my volume seems to go up alot more, if im on a call and put speaker phone on then turn it off it seems to go back to the way it was before the G appeared?

did u manage to sort the problem out?

no, ill try to change it for another unit. it seems as if it is the problem with mpx200 (orange) in general as u also experience this. this would not be apparent on non orange uk phones since they have no problem initialising gprs on start up.

need more ppl to test this abnormality as it is quite annoying.

I get the same thing just using the SpeakerPhone feature, in fact the more I have this phone the more I am getting annoyed by its numerous settings by ATTWS and in general the SmartPhone OS. :lol:

got a replacement unit, the problem still remains. im surprised so few have noticed this abnoramlity, or are ppl not bothered by it?

not sure, i thnk mine has a little bit off difference but not really that much.

either that or I just cant tell the difference myself
