Help with new SD card please

hi all,

i have ordered a 256MB sd card and wanted to know if getting the stuff off my 16MB card was as simple as just copying what is on the card onto my PC and then putting that onto my new card.

As a lot of my apps are on the sd card would all the shortcuts still work as the exe would technically still be in the same folders just on a new card.

Thanks for all your help, did do a search but couldnt find any info on this

yes thats all i did whe n i got a new card.. just copied everything from my old card on to my pc and then copied it all on to my new card

It depends on whether any applications you have installed have set registry entries upon installation. If not then you should be fine.

ye but the reg entries will still point to the same place??

if he basically copies the files from 1 car dto another then the reg entries will still point to the correct place :?

Point taken, i was thinking of when i hard reset my phone and format the storage card, tanagerdave is correct.
