Storing ringtone in Storage Card

How can I store my ringtones in storage card and make it visible in the sound setting options?

if you're using imate [i bet you are... as your username implies... :lol:], place it in Storage CardMy Documents

You are right, I have iMate Smaprtphone, unfortunately your suggestion did not work. Any other idea?

ehh.. yeh.. Install the App called SmartTones HERE! (choose 'Engelsk' ) and you will be able to do so.. :lol:

I don't what are you doing wrong??

I install it on storage card and it's work great for me.

to install move *.cab to IPSM/Windows/Start Menu/Accessories

by using activsync.

on the phone programs/accessories/ and click on *-cab file

I didn't find the CAB file the programe on exe format it run directly from the PC and not work.

i am wondering if this is a known problem. after i close my phone (8380) the ringtone seems to reset itself. what the heck? could there possibly be software conflict or whatnot?

Are you guys putting your tones in the Windows folder ?

They should go in IPSM(or Storage) Application Data Sounds or they'll be deleted when you restart your phone.

If you've actually loaded a new ROM or upgrade to the OS then everything is cleared out, as with a hard reset.

No, I'm talking about SOFT reset, not Hard. And I story my ringtones not in the Windows. I'm talking about Jeyo Personalizer programm.. if I make my own sound in this programm, and reloading my smartphone, it's all reset... $(

I wander by 1 question.. I make a folder on storagecard (sounds), but in settings I cant see new melodies.. And on IPSM not enough space.. What I need to do? Wich one programm can solve my problem? (take sounds of any place on storage card.. I heard about @sonerie@ or aomething.. )
