GPRS problem

can i shut the GPRS down? i want to know if i could turn it off just like nokia?

cause i have a problem, it seems that my SPV doesn't like my new sim card/network :roll: i have the signal and the name of the provider also a GPRS icon in the homescreen. the problem is: it's a fake.

I can't call my own number even make a phone call!!!

i'm really confused :? i don't know what is going on with my phone.

if i want to make a phone call, i have to choose 'Radio Off' from the Quick List and then i turn it on again so it will search for the network again. and then quickly i make a phone call. (this solution only work for several minutes after that ......).

can somebody help me please?

when you say "fake" what do you mean? Where did you get the phone from if you don't mind me asking? I'm assuming the phone is legit?

fake means that if i call my own number, it says that my card is not active...so the signal in the homescreen is a fake and please note that the sim card is inserted on the SPV.
