Browsing/playing ringtones volume problem with smartexplorer

Right then - here's one 4 u !

I have an E200.On receiving the handset and browsing to /Storage Card/Sounds (where my ringtones are) I click on a .wav file and play the sound by browsing via smartexplorer and the volume is shite!. If I change the profile setting 'normal' and 'system sound volume' 'loud' it plays ok. My point is - If I dont want a loud 'Clunk' when I select a contact name, I have to suffer the quite ring tones when browing to them.

Any suggestions?
