Hi all

My SPV has stopped working for the 5th time and the manager of the Orange shop, says she would not recommend another. She says that even the new e200 breaks down alot and that if i want a reliable phone i should look at Nokia or Siemens.

I am happy to spend more and upgrade, not least because i spend 50% of my time outside the UK now, and because of the spv going down so much, have only managed to use it 20 or so times!

The SPV is a fab idea if only it worked, have i been unlucky and is the phone great, or is it a load rubbish? You are the real experts, shall i try again or go for another Nokia 9210?

 Well Brody, I am pleased to hear it..........is there anything else to commend it? How do you think it compares with the other organiser/phones? Thanks for your comment and please reply as i have to make the decision within the next couple of days.

Well I am very biased as i love the Windows Smartphone platform to bits!

MPx200 is an extremely solid piece of kit. Ridiculously cheap too - its like a debugged spv that actually looks nice

I would recommend any day.

I spoke to Orange yesterday and said that i thought i would upgrade to an E200, they then told me the pricing options and i then asked the price, were this was not an upgrade but a new contract. I was told the prices would be the same. I asked why then should i upgrade with Orange as i had allready wasted 1 year with their appalling service and telephone and i was being offered absolutely nothing in recompense for this. The salesman was stuck for an answer. In my oppinion Orange are fraudsters, they deliberately offer something they do not deliver, even their supplied annoying answerphone message is designed to squeeze out the last penny from us....I suppose i should not expect more from a company owned by French Telecom!.....As i have a life, i do not have the time to take the matter further, but i suggest everyone who has to endure an Orange contract, makes their complaints known and then changes to Vodaphone as soon as they get a chance! Bonne chance!
