MPX200 will not schedule email downloads?

I have a working email account set up on my MPX, i can successfully send and recieve email, and i have the email synchronization scheduled to send/recieve every half hour. The phone will not automatically check for emails though. I wonder, is the synchronization for PC sync, or does it schedule a GPRS send/recieve. Any help with what settings i need to have automatic send/recieve is much appreciated.

1. Check that your MPx200 can automatically connect to GPRS if it needs to. See this thread for settings for Orange in the UK, look for the settings suggested by Martin on page two.

2. When you reboot your phone you need to open your inbox to enable automatic synchronising, its a limitation of SmartphoneOS 2002.
