Guest inxisle Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Okay, I followed the instructions to update the ROM back to the Motorola build and everything went fine. Now when I look at the available bandwidths I see 1900 and 900/1800mhz. The problem is that I am in Germany right now and can see the TMobile option (TMobile only runs 900mhz here) but I am unable to select it. In addition, a friend of mine has a TMobile GSM phone and when I plugged his sim into my MPX200 he wasn't able to get a signal at all. With his sim in my phone all he could see was EPlus (EPlus runs at 1900mhz). This leads me to believe that 900mhz isn't working correctly... Does anyone have any suggestions?
Guest Bonzo Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 as I remember from looking around a few sites the original Moto ROM released on AT&T in the states was dual band only! There was a release after that to activate the tri-band capabilities... I may be wrong about this tho but I'd suggest looking here for some further info
Guest Richie M Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 Hmm not really a post for Customisation - Discussion :D Moved to the MPX200 section
