Orange / SD / MPX200 - please, some quick answers needed ...

Hi all,

Sorry to push this message out in this section, but I need rapid answers, I am hoping some of you guys can assist.

Very quickly :

(1) I have just got the mpx200 with Orange ( free + no upgrade cost ), and found out subsequently that large numbers of you got doubled minutes and/or SMS also ! I am taking this up with Orange in a big way, and need to know your thoughts on this matter ... any comments welcome

(2) SD card - the one that came with the MPX200 has Lemonade Tycoon, tennis demo, and golf demo on it - but I've read in more than one place that mpx200 was supposed to be shipped with an SD card containing Ministry of Sound content, Timeout content, and some truetones + homescreens. Can anyone comment as to what they got with theirs ? There is something odd going on by my reckoning ...

(3) Finally, I put my old ( original ) SPV homescreen ( an xbox one ) on the MPX200 and it looks like the screen on it is not as tall - I've searched the forum and found some references to the fact this is a known about problem, could anyone please direct me to the link that has the definitive answer on it ?

Thanks for your help in advance guys, (1) and (2) are particularly pressing as I am about to go to war with Orange ...

I got the mxp 200 and got the same card as yourself 16mb and got 2000 free sms to be used in the first 6 months this was on the £30 a month plan 200 free mins a month.

My home screens seem to work ok .

Let me know how you get on with the card .

Thanks Scott, interesting info to know

- I've read two mags ( one mobile industry mag ) that state the MPX was coming with MoS and TimeOut content - argh.

- As regards the package I am on, I grow more and more sure that I was screwed - GRRRR.

- Finally for the homescreens, I've seen other threads mentioning that there is something different about the MPX display, but can't find the definitive thread for the matter ...

1, This depends on your contract.

2, On upgrade you should only recieve the 16MB card, the additional card is only ment for new contracts.

As for home screens there is an mms plugin difference which can affect the look between the SPV and the MPX
