I have tried all listed settings on this site and others.

I must be missing something.

I have got a E100 working on Vodafone including MMS but still no IE.

IE appears to dial in establish a connection then at the last second fail.

These are the settings I am currently trying.

Please can anybody spot the problem or suggest a solution.

I've ammended the Vodafone GPRS settings (see page2) with the following.

Default WAP/MMS settings

APN wap.vodafone.co.uk

Username=wap

Psword=wap.

Other WAP/MMS Settings

APN wap.vodafone.co.uk

User name: [email protected]

Passord: user

Have you created the GPRS connection using APN: internet as you will need this for full internet access. You might have to ask Vodafone to activate the web browsing service for you.

Let us know if any of the settings fail to work :lol:

I have set up the E100 as per (Page 2)

The phone shows - Dialing...

Then - Finding site...

Then after about 2 minutes - alert - The page you are looking for cannot be found.

This happens with any web address I try.

If I try the Vodafone WAP address - http://wap:1999/vodfone.wml

I get - Error - Unable to connect. Verify your dialup or proxy settings ae correct, and try again.

I have phone Vodafone who say they do not support Orange phones or any Smartphones and there is no option to activate web browsing services.

Any ideas?

Yep, if you tell Vodafone CS that you have an SPV they just get very confused :?

To get full web browsing (Internet over GPRS) you will need the Vodafone Internet Access which comes under the heading 'Internet on the move'. I think you have to phone 191 to get it activtated but I don't know how much it costs. For more details try www.vodafone.co.uk and look under SITE MAP (at top of page) and then Internet on the move.

You should still have the WAP over GPRS settings attached to the WAP connection of the SPV. Try using wsp://(address) and see it works ie. wsp://www.google.com/wml

Here is a previous & similair topic to show that it really does work :lol:

This Settings - Accessories - MMS setup, how do I get to this? I am really struggling with MMS, can't get anywhere at all, even with all these fabulous posts.

:cry:

oops, finally combining all the postings I seem to have set this up okay. It took 6 hours of messing before I realised that it is just "accessories" not settings, accessories - which of course doesn't exist. Oh well, only snagged the phone from hubby late last night once his E200 was activated. Ho hum!

:oops:
