Guest zeta101 Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 I have an orange contract sim and an e100, and today i noticed it said network denied for the carrier bit. I rebooted and it came up with no signal for a while and then changed to network denied again. I tried an orange pay as you go sim in the e100, same problem, which suggest its the phones fault. but then i tried my contract sim in a samsung T100 (thats where the pay as u go sim came from) and it came up with limited service, i think thats the equivalent to no signal. This suggests thats my contract sim is messed up some how. the pay as you go sim and T100 work fine together. I dont have orange care, so i hope there is nothing from with my e100 and its just a sim problem. Please help! Cheers
Guest zeta101 Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 just had the sense to do a search, and from what i can gather this means i havent either paid my bill (which i have, and the next payment is no where near due) or the phone has been reported stolen, which it obviously isnt, and surely im the only one who can report it to be stolen? can it be anything else?
Guest drblow Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 I used to get that with my e100! It never actually stayed on for that long, usually 1 or 2 reboots would sort it, so I never actually did phone orange to ask what it was. Not like they'd know anyway!
Guest zeta101 Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 ive rebooted it a few times now, ill keep trying though. I'd rather not have to resort to ringing orange, they will probably try and tell me its the phone thats broken or something and then swindle me into getting orange care lol
Guest digger Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 I've phoned Orange, there is a network problem. They are working on it.......
Guest zeta101 Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 yeah its working now...i dismissed that possibilty cos all my ates on orange havent had any probs. weird.
