Guest DMC Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 Hello Anyone got or know of a text editor / notepad clone that will work on the MPx200? The only one I've found is "Ornata Notepad", but I can't get it to work. I've tried to use the installer (.exe) from my PC and have also tried dropping the .CAB file into the accessories folder, but both methods produce the following message on the phone: "Installation failed. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have adequate system permissions. Please contact your service provider for more information." Anyone else had this problem? Got a solution (or know of an alternative)?

You've unlocked your phone using Alphaflux's cab!!! :lol: I'm guessing U will be answering yes to this... there are one or two programs on certain phones that won't install afterwards and this is one I have personally found to have a problem with... if this is the case just run Alpha's 'Lock' cab... install NotePad... Re-run Alpha's 'Un-lock' cab and it should be working :D check here for more info as things rumble on :)
