hard reset trouble!!!

y is it when i try to do a hard reset the screen goes to the multicolor canary screen?

i followed exactly all the instructions at the smart website. everthing goes well till i press the action button for two seconds "as indcated on the instructions" then it goes to the canary screen, aint it suppose to ask me (erase ipsm)?

if it doesnt go to the canary screen, the screen just turns blank with the backlight on. whats the prob here?

btw im using rom 1.6.0.8

mahirap talaga ang hard reset ..... TIMING is Everything.... di ko pa nga nagagawa hanggang ngayon... buti pa yung ka officemate ko :lol:

@sweet- thanks madam. actually, nag search ako talaga, dapat pala wala yung sd/mmc. tapos pag punta ko gen pinoy, may thread na :D ok! pag lahat ng inquiry 'bout technicalities" pag ha hard reset, dito na pagusapn :lol:

(sa totoo lang, gagawa na talaga ako ng thread, kaso naunahan) :)

@brags- nag soft reset na ba yung sap mo? na back up ko na kontacts as per spv-daman. pero kinakabahan pa rin ako. auyun! bumalik ang phantom sms :D

d ba dapat may sd card ka. kaka- Hard Reset ko lang kanina.

oo nga. sa kin ok lang hard reset kahit may sd card. .93 bootloader ko.

actually pards, sa nangyare sa sap ko (soft reset) dahil di nag close ng apps bago shutdown, gusto ko gumawa ng DO's and DONT's thread

iba pa to sa tips and tricks. hirap pag smartphone gamit mo, sakit sa ulo pag trial and error ang gagamitin mo :lol:

ang mga do's and dont's eh mga galing sa mga sap users (old and new) na nangaling sa mga "experiences" nila. so they can share it with other sap users (specially the nuwbies) para maiwasan ito.

kaso VERY CAUTIOUS lang ako sa pag-gawa ng bagong thread, baka kase magka doble doble YUNG MGA DOBLE DOBLE NA NGA NA THREADS DITO SA MODACO.

actually, dami pa dito threads NA DAPAT I-DELETE EH.

y dont u start it? i'd like to know what NOT to do on my smartphone. and im sure it'll help a lot of people especially people like me because im new at this. i havnt really experimented with my smartphone yet, cuz im cautious at doing so...i had some bad experience with my past symbian phones and i dont want to mess this phone up.

btw i finally got my phone to hard reset...removing the card did the trick. :lol:

soft reset! yep! 2 times na nangyari sa akin... ok lang naman... tinutuloy ko na lang din ng hard reset... :lol:

hard reset na talaga. (ewan ko ba bakit kinakabahan ako) parang feeling ko di ko na maiSPAMlik (due to lack/insufficient knowledge) tong sap ko sa normal eh :D

@brags- sabi ni pzee pards, pwede daw ilipat sa SD yung MAPI para naka save ng space sa IPSM. is this true? if yes, how? tia! :lol:

kayang-kaya mo yang hard reset!:lol:

hindi ko pa na-try ang paglilipat ng MAPI sa storage card... tignan ko mamaya sa registry... will let you know pards... baka i-PT na lang kita... :D
