Guest Jasonkruys Posted December 10, 2003 Report Posted December 10, 2003 Orange stated that the new rom includes IA SpaceMaker, but there is no link anywhere to it. Has anyone found it yet?
Guest Pondrew Posted December 10, 2003 Report Posted December 10, 2003 ditto... Mr Orange? Can you shed any light on this?
Guest MECX Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 yeh had a poke around but still cant find the damn thing (hehe what does it do--i was just bored  )
Guest tomdbomb61 Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 there in accessories on my mpx200, but they came already installed, have you looked in their? tom
Guest hecatae Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 it was on the leaked development rom, not on the official one at all. Posted from my E100.
Guest mvsmith07 Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 No, I couldn't find this application post-update either. However, I had already bleedin' bought Task Manager and Space Maker as part of the IA Style Tools package, which also included File Manager and now they're including it for free!
Guest Jasonkruys Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 it was on the leaked development rom, not on the official one at all. Posted from my E100. "Does the update affect the menu structure on my SPV? No, however Orange has added 2 new applications - Space Maker and Task Manager. These will now appear on the main menu and may change the original order" <<<<< If that is the case then they should take this off of the update download page! :?

I read somewhere (cant remember where) that it was the E200 that includes both. the update just included task manager. although i remember it being worded a little misleadingly. I know it was somewhere offical. ill have a hunt around for it in the morning. In the meanwhile im going to see (the real) bad manners! featuring buster bloodvessel! hahaha!
Guest Jasonkruys Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 You are not kidding worded misleadingly. As I quoted, It clearly states, without doubt or any vagueness, that they have included both apps in the 1.6 update. They need to remove this if it is not true!
Guest hecatae Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 but the development rom was 1.63, and official uk is only 1.61
Guest Jasonkruys Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 I dont see your point on the development being 1.63. On the OFFICIAL 1.61 download page is where I got that quote from, stating that THAT (the official 1.6 update available on THAT page) contained 2 new apps, spacemaker and taskmanager. Look for yourself, http://www.orange.com/English/forwardthink...2003.asp?bhcp=1 Scroll down and under "Does the update affect the menu structure on my SPV? " My question is, primarily to Mr Orange I suppose, is it there as stated, and how do we get to it if it is!
Guest hecatae Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 yes been there read that. downloaded the update. dont know if it is included on the other updates available on the site, dk etc. Posted from my spv.
Guest jody Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 Seem they have been included in this update "QUOTE" Does the update affect the menu structure on my SPV? No, however Orange has added 2 new applications - Space Maker and Task Manager. These will now appear on the main menu and may change the original order. Trust me Mrs Orange. have I heard that b4
Guest kevlar Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 I think spacemaker is there right after the update, but quickly deletes itself to make some space  Kevlar
Guest rogerbates Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003  Posted from my SmartPhone!
