Address Book Backup

Is it possible to backup the phone book before I upgrade? Is it in the IPSM? If so what file is it ?

Can't you just sync it with outlook?

Even if you don't use outlook to view e-mail etc, I recently found I could set up an "offline" e-mail account that doesn't actually have any mail in but which syncs with my calendar, contacts and tasks. I'll try and work out how I did it if that sounds helpful...
