E200 Bluetooth Syncing with Microsoft dongle

Has anyone tried synching over BT with a Microsoft BT dongle, the type supplied with their BT desktop set?

I've had no luck, I can synch with my laptop using my TDK dongle, it took a little bit of arsing around but now it's great. With the MS one though I only seem to be able to communicate with the phone in DUN profile and there seems to be no way of setting up a virtual serial port connection.
